Our approach.
Here are the main elements that underpin our approach, and the Growing Well Logic Model: Our evidence-based model of mental health recovery.
We’re an inclusive mental health charity and social enterprise that delivers evidence-based support and horticultural activity in the natural environment.
We provide swift help for anyone experiencing mental ill health, reducing pressure on primary and secondary care services and empowering communities through collective action.

Growing Well Logic Model
In 2022 (updated June 2025), we developed our own Logic Model, a theory of change, working with Dr Rachel Bragg OBE at the Green Exercise Research Team, University of Essex.
This was to bring therapeutic rigour to our horticultural activity and enable us to effectively replicate our service delivery across multiple sites.
We ensure fidelity to this model with robust governance and clinical supervision.
Professional training ensures consistent and quality service delivery across our multiple sites.
