Sinead McCann

Manager – Kendal

With over 30 years’ experience of working in the voluntary and public sector, Sinead has managed a number of projects in Cumbria and New Zealand, and ran an accessible outdoor activity centre in London. Sinead supports the staff team and is responsible for the day-to-day activities at our Kendal site.

Sharon White

Office Coordinator

Sharon manages all of the office requirements of the Kendal site and is one of the first faces people will see at Growing Well, Kendal. She supports beneficiaries throughout their journey here, on both a practical and administrative level.

Sarah Hill

Mental Health Support Coordinator

Sarah supports volunteers with their wellbeing, setting goals and monitoring their progress. Sarah has a military background and significant management experience.

Mark Hurrell

Activity Lead (Growing)

Mark has worked at sustainable agriculture projects around the world and was previously growing high end, organic vegetables for London restaurants and veg box schemes in Sussex. Mark also photographs and documents a lot of our work on social media.

Fiona Harriss

Activity Lead (Growing)

Fiona works alongside volunteers at our Kendal site. Previously she worked as a youth and community worker in East London for over 10-years, before re-training in horticulture and working at an organic farm in Northumberland where she grew for their veg box scheme and farm shop.

Sam Taylor

Activity Lead (Growing)

Sam has worked in higher education as a scientist and a lecturer in plant sciences in Universities. Over the last 10 years he has also worked in community supported sustainable agriculture, growing for box schemes in the USA as well as the UK. At Growing Well, he works as part of the team leading growing activities at our Kendal site.
