Growing Well is delighted to announce a partnership with the family-owned, independent garden centre and café Beetham Nurseries.
Established in 1984 and located on the A6 in south Cumbria, near Milnthorpe, Beetham Nurseries offer a diverse range of plants, gardening supplies, homeware, and gifts. The site also features a Garden Café and Wood Fired Kitchen, providing visitors with a complete shopping and dining experience.
Throughout the year, Beetham Nurseries will collaborate with Growing Well to raise funds and increase awareness of our work and support for beneficiaries.
As part of this partnership, Growing Well will also have a presence at various Beetham Nurseries events throughout 2025. Additionally, Beetham Nurseries plans to make Growing Well’s organic veg available in its Food Hall and popular Garden Cafe, raising essential funds to support Growing Well’s services.
Jeni Thomas, marketing manager at Beetham Nurseries, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership: “We are delighted to support Growing Well in their mission to provide much-needed mental health services in our community. We already have a number of exciting activities planned and we hope to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those facing mental health challenges.”
Rebecca Batstone, partnerships manager at Growing Well: “Growing Well are thrilled to have been chosen as the beneficiary Charity of Beetham Nurseries in 2025.
“This partnership represents a great opportunity for us to further spread the word and encourage people to come forward and receive the tailored mental health support that Growing Well can offer, free of charge.
“We are only able to continue our valuable work because of the generous support we receive from local businesses, individuals, and funders.
“As a horticulture-based charity there are so many obvious synergies between our work and that of Beetham Nurseries; we are excited for the year ahead and the collaborative opportunities this will bring.”
